Shots fired—and at who is really anyone’s guess. This past weekend, Cardi B took some time out of her MoMA PS1 set (which she bodied) to throw some serious shade at an unknown woman. Check out the clip for yourself below.
“You know this bitch,” Cardi can be heard saying in the video. “She never fucking liked me and now, all of a sudden, she wants to be friends with me. No, bitch. I still don’t like you bitch.”
The majority of the rap community believed the shots were aimed at none other than Nicki Minaj. The two have been cool in the past, plus Cardi has admitted Onika is a strong influence for her. However, it appeared lik things went left when Remy Ma invited Cardi B to perform at her show at a pre-BET party, and folks who have issues with Nicki Minaj immediately assumed that Cardi B has joined Remy Ma’s team.
But it turns out that’s not necessarily the case. On Monday night, Cardi decided to tweet out the lyrics to Nicki’s “Win Again” record off 2014’s The Pinkprint. “I know they mad that I made all this money I made ,all my bitches is laced #mood.” Nicki then retweeted it herself, pretty much confirming that she & Cardi have no beef.
“I see no lies when Bardi quotes Barbie #WinAgain ~ all dat reaching you gon fuk around & pull a muscle…#BarbieTingz” Nicki quote-tweeted out, saying the internets been reaching for a story.
