The on-going issues between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj reached a new height as things got testy on Friday night (Sept. 7) during New York Fashion Week. During the Harper’s BAZAAR ICONS at The Plaza Hotel in NYC, the two rap stars got into an altercation. TMZ reports Cardi aggressively approached the area Nicki Minaj was at, wanting “to address the lies Nicki was spreading” said people connected to Cardi. In video posted online of the heated moment, Cardi is seen throwing one of her heels towards Minaj as the Young Money Queen is shielded by a team of bodyguards.
Shortly after, Cardi B was escorted out wearing only one shoe and with a knot over one of her eyes. The “Bodak Yellow” star would take to Instagram soon after, confirming the incident and revealing her decision to attack was after her daughter Kulture was mentioned at some point in time. “I’ve let a lot of s*** slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me …But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f***in off!!,” said Cardi.
