Cardi B‘s rise into superstardom is getting higher and higher, and now she’s making a huge mark as a female MC. The Bronx native’s “Bodak Yellow” single now has the highest-charting song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart by a female rapper since Nicki Minaj‘s “Anaconda” track from 2014. Cardi’s track currently sits at No. 14 on the chart.

“Bodak Yellow” saw a 39% increase in sales for the week ending August 3, 2017. The popular single has rapidly made its way up the Billboard charts since its release. “Bodak Yellow” also sits at #8 on the R&B/Hip Hop Single Sales chart, boasting 71,574 in total sales with 21,739 of those from this week alone.

Undoubtedly, that’s a huge success for Cardi. Maybe it’s really time for everyone to start respecting her work as a femcee and not just another reality star. You go girl!
