Chris Brown – Whippin f/ Section Boyz & Quavo [New Song]

As promise, Breezy dropped his mixtape with OHB today. That mixtape included his collaboration “Whippin” with the UK’s Section Boyz and Migos’ Quavo as the second track.

The song is an extended crew jam (it’s seven minutes long), with each of the Section Boyz getting their own verse. Breezy handles the chorus, and Quavo appears just before the halfway point to break up all the Brits. The beat is spares, with simple drums slapping over echoing synth and vocal samples.

While the song isn’t a banger by any definition, it’s a unique collaboration and manages not to drag despite its length. Be sure to check out the whole tape for more from Breezy & company.
