CK & Hlava premiere their new single “Light the Way.”
CK & Hlava are an international duo comprising of UK recording artist, Bekki Hlava, and LA music producer, CK Jones. This British-American duo met on a journey of grinding their way through the music industry. After seeing each other’s talent in the studio, they kept in touch overseas and developed a solid belief in each other. CK & Hlava began collaborating and learned that Bekki’s soothing R&B vocals with CK’s hip-hop influenced beats were a match in the making.
Light the Way, by CK & Hlava, began when CK sent Bekki some beats, one of which inspired her to write some melodies. She sent back the ideas to CK and they knew they had to finish it. Once Bekki was back in LA, they recorded the song in CK’s apartment. Light the Way is about celebrating the journey to success and spreading the positive message that when people try to bring you down, you just have to keep on shining.
