Desiigner’s ‘New English’ Mixtape Is Finally Here.
With a number one charting, platinum single continuously receiving burn on radio and in clubs across the country, the entire Hip-Hop world is waiting to see if newly minted XXL Freshman and Brooklyn upstart Desiigner can pull another hit out of his bag of tricks, or go down as yet another one-hit wonder, with the likes of MIMS or, heaven-forbid, J-Kwon.
After revealing a new mixtape, titled New English would be arriving as a hors d’oeuvre of sorts before his debut album, Life of Desiigner (executive produced by Mike Dean) arrives, Sidney Royel Selby III delivered his XXL Freshmen freestyle, with opinions widely divided, mainly due to the fact that it wasn’t really a freestyle by true definition.
With a scheduled performance at the BET Awards later tonight, the New York rapper surprised his fans with the release of his highly anticipated mixtape on TIDAL (the link has since been taken down), but thanks to Datpiff, you can stream the 14-track project featuring Pusha T and King Savage, below.
