Eerf Evil Shares “Know Yourself”
South London’s Eerf Evil connects with Maverick Sabre for his reflective new single “Know Yourself,” released via ROOT 73 Records.
Built around warm jazz instrumentation and soulful textures, the track explores a simple but important idea: understanding the world around you starts with understanding yourself.
Eerf’s thoughtful writing sits naturally alongside Maverick Sabre’s distinctive vocals, creating a record rooted in self-knowledge, growth and clarity rather than chasing an obvious commercial moment.
The release also introduces another chapter for an artist whose work extends well beyond music. As co-founder of The Silhouettes Project, Eerf has spent years connecting hip-hop, jazz and grassroots culture while creating opportunities for young artists and working-class communities.
That work continues alongside his forthcoming debut solo project and initiatives including The Young Club Imagination Tour, which takes music and creative workshops directly into British youth clubs.
With “Know Yourself,” Eerf Evil brings those different parts of his world together — music, community and purpose.
