Ghanaian-British artist Eugy has joined forces with Accra hip-hop talent Medikal on new single ‘Osu Freestyle’.
The release precedes his debut headline show in London at London Colours in Hoxton on 7th November. Combining ominous trap snares with Eugy’s cold bars and Medikal’s rapid-fire flow, ‘Osu Freestyle’ eschews Eugy’s trademark Afrobeats sound in favour of a hard-hitting drill vibe that packs a serious punch.
The official video, which features both artists making moves in the bando, communicates this energy in visual form. It follows the release of the ‘My Touch’ remix package, which featured reworks from artists such as Medikal, Kwesi Arthur, Busy Signal and Chivv and also included an NFT drop.
