Ice Spice sets the stage ablaze with her latest single, “Gimme A Light,” accompanied by a provocative music video directed by herself alongside George and Frederick Buford.
In the visually captivating clip, the Bronx rapper is seen cruising the city in a smoke-filled Pink Rover, showcasing her twerking skills from the backseat to a lively party scene. The track kicks off with a sample of Sean Paul’s 2001 hit, “Gimme The Light.”
“Watch your mouth ’cause my bitch get scrappy / Fuck you mean? / Bitch, you never could attack me,” raps Ice Spice. She continues, “Off the liquor, we be getting nasty / Ghetto Fabulous and fancy / She getting loud but nobody moved / Talk of the town, I’m making the news.”
Produced by RIOTUSA, “Gimme A Light” marks the first official release of the year for the “Think U The Shit” hitmaker, following her collaboration with Rema on last year’s “Pretty Girl.” Ice Spice also recently dropped a remix to Cash Cobain and Baby Swag’s “Fisherrr,” solidifying her position as a rising star in the rap scene.
