One of Jamaica’s finest exports, Kabaka Pyramid has dropped new visuals for ‘Kaught Up’, the fourth single taken from his upcoming debut album ‘Kontraband’. Following ‘Borders Ft. Stonebwoy’, ‘Can’t Breathe’ and ‘Well Done’, Kabaka delivers a more dancehall inspired track with nods to a more romantic side.

Produced by Genis T Nadal out of Barcelona, the track is an up tempo-futuristic dancehall, club banger. Staying true to the lyrical style he is known for, Kabaka Pyramid delivers a blistering third verse in a hip-hop flavor. With visuals directed by Alex Sandoval and premiering with BET Jams, the vibrant video captures the chemistry between Kabaka and his love interest under Miami’s neon lights.

Kontraband is Kabaka’s first full-length album to be distributed by Bebble Rock Music and Ghetto Youths International and is executive produced by Damian Marley. Perhaps best known to UK audiences from his various BBC 1Xtra freestyles/performances for David Rodigan and Toddla T, as well as a mixtape collab ‘Accurate’ with Major Lazor which gained online support from sites including The Fader. Hip Hop fans will also know him from features with Raekwon ‘Be Inspired’ and Akala ’Giants’ in 2016. Previously, his single ‘Well Done’ was premiered and championed by Billboard in the US.
