Lil Wayne and Birdman are still on the rocks. The tense label situation appears to deteriorate as Weezy threatens to sue Cash Money Records, if they don’t drop his new album as soon as possible! According to TMZ’s sources, Wayne has issued a simple ultimatum in writing. If Baby and his imprint don’t release Tha Carter V pronto, Weezy will both sue and leave Cash Money. Tunechi strongly believes the album is ready to hit the shelves, but Birdman still claims there’s a lot of behind-the-scenes work to be done. The sources also report that both longtime partners are still not speaking to each other as Wayne is only focused on the album and has no time to worry about fixing his friendship with his rap “father,” if that’s even possible.
