If I have anything to say about it.Considering how long they’ve both been making Hip-Hop music, it’s surprising that i.am and Lil Wayne haven’t worked together more often. Even though they both appeared on Jay Rock’s “All My Life (In the Ghetto)” and Wayne on the “Scream & Shout” remix, this is the first time they’ve collaborated on a full-length song.
The new record, titled “THE FORMULA,” features the duo and sounds like an attempt at a radio hit for the summer. Fans of Formula 1 will be thrilled to know that Wayne contributed many bars about the sport, which is not something they hear very often.
