MadeinTYO is blessed and enjoying life. The Tokyo-born/Atlanta-based rapper hit the road with Big Sean this year on the “I Decided” tour, and also became the father of a newborn son named True. The XXL Freshman celebrates the recent events he has experienced with the True’s World EP. The 6-track project features production by FKi 1st, DWN2EARTH, and Nard & B.
“This EP is for my fans, I wouldn’t be here without them,” TYO tells FADER, who premieres the EP ahead of its Friday release. “True’s World is special to me because it was inspired by my son — my biggest collab this year was making him with my fiancé distortedd. And it felt great to work so closely with my brother, 24hrs — I gotta thank him for helping me put True’s World together. I hope all my fans enjoy the new vibe & growth.”
