Meek Mill Speaks on Freedom, Nicki Minaj, Drake & More on ‘The Breakfast Club’

Free and slowly getting back into things, Meek Mill has spent the past week on a media run doing various interviews. The MMG star’s latest appearance was on Power 105. 1’s The Breakfast Club with Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee and DJ Envy. Throughout the 70-minute conversation, Meek Mill details his time in prison, finding out he was being released via social media, moving forward with a new purpose and being overwhelmed by the support he received during his time locked up.

The Philly spitter speaks on the two minor infractions that led him back to prison, the incident with Safaree last year, taking his time to get back into the studio and record new music, his relationship with 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, JAY-Z’s support, and Beyoncé shouting him out on DJ Khaled’s “Top Off.” With a new energy and positive attitude, Meek Mill touched on having a clean slate moving forward, having no issues with Nicki Minaj, Drake and Beanie Sigel.
