Gold Empire Entertainment signee, Merit, teams up with Reggae/Dancehall Nigerian artiste, Patoranking to release brand new single “Nakupenda” with crisp visuals directed by Clarence Peters to go with it.
Merit, whose real name is Idowu Oluwole Omowunmi was born and bred in Lagos but he later relocated to the United States of America to further his musical career. However, a short while he got signed to Gold Empire Entertainment which required him to move back to Nigeria to promote his music.
Merit’s “Nakupenda” which means “I Love You” in Swahili, is a guaranteed hit in the making and will be a party favourite by all indications.
