Metro Boomin is not only the hottest producer in the game, he’s the only guy whose trust you should be worried about right now. So it’s no surprise The FADER have picked him to cover their upcoming Producers Issue (which also features an enlightening interview with KAYTRANADA). While Metro’s cover story won’t be published until later tonight, The FADER have released this new documentary called Thank God For the Day, which gives us a glimpse at the grind of rap’s most sought-after beatmaker.

The four-minute film follows 22-year-old Leland Wayne from the studio (aka the “bat cave”), where he puts in a shift with 21 Savage and Southside, to a sold-out Future show and finally to Magic City, the famed Atlanta strip club that makes or breaks artists. Metro also gets introspective about his current success: “I’m just really trying to stay away from all hype,” he says. “I’m not about producer of this year and all this shit. I work hard and I’m not gon’ stop.”
