To end the very tragic day after the news of Cadet’s death, we present to you Militant Fyah with his latest single “Babylon Fall” which is sure to set you in the right mood.

Militant Fyah is the most recognizable Jamaican/Bahamian reggae artist out there right now. He’s been creating music for over a decade, but circumstances outside of his control set back his career. Since signing with Savage 100, Militant has really shown his versatility and seriousness about his career.

Growing up, things weren’t always easy for Militiant, and his family often struggled to provide everything he and his sister needed, but he credits those hard times for turning him into the strong individual he is today. He knew he wanted to be a performer by the time he was 8 years old when he started playing the drums. Four years later, he moved on to the trumpet, and then continued to learn various brass instruments all throughout high school. He also began writing and vocal performances when he was still a teen. Surprisingly, he started off as a rapper! Some of Militant’s greatest influences are Capleton, Sizzle, Lutan Fyah, Bushman, and Luciano, but he listens to many different artists.

Rastafari has influenced Militant Fyah’s music a great deal, because finding the faith helped him to look at life situations in a more positive way, and he also sees music as a way to spread positivity and unification globally. He gives thanks for his voice, and is proud of the tracks he’s put out thus far. Fans can look out for more music with positive vibrations, chill melodies and a deeper meaning behind the lyrics.

Militant Fyah has an album coming out March 2019, and he recently opened for Damien “Tuff Gong” Marley and Nas during Winter Soulstice in Nassau, Bahamas.
