Mya K is back, and this time she’s bringing her fans something a bit different. Produced by VELLI, her current single “Call Me” fuses R&B and Amapiano to create a catchy summer song. Mya’s lyrics hint at an interest in rekindling a past romance. She sings, “Maybe we should try again, I think you should call me…” as she explains her train of thought through lilting melodies.
Discussing the new release “This track is so different to anything I’ve released before, and yet it still feels right,” Mya K explains. Having the freedom to explore new musical territory while yet maintaining an emphasis on R&B is something I intend to make the most of.
