Suge Knight and Katt Williams were both arrested last week in Beverly Hills, after a photographer claimed they attacked her and took her camera by force.
They both denied such a thing, when they said that the photog was harassing Suge’s 4-year-old son and refused to stop taking pictures if him even after they asked her politely. They also said that they never took her camera.
Anyway, the photographer in question pressed charges and now Suge is turning himself in to face them. As he arrived at the L.A. courthouse with his lawyer James Blatt, a TMZ photographer asked him about the case that could cost him his freedom for the rest of his life.
Knight was pretty clear on the answer, as he stated that it’s not fair.
After surrendering, he was taken into custody, but surprisingly enough the judge he got was extremely sympathetic to his situation. He said that he’s keen on understanding why celebrity parents, just like any normal parent, will be driven to extremes when the paparazzi harasses their young children.
Judge Keith Schwartz also mentioned Justin Bieber being chased down an L.A. freeway, adding, “What kind of lunatics do that?”. As it would seem though, he said he can’t cut Suge a break, because the D.A. has filed charges, but clearly he believes Suge’s version of events.
The judge set bail at $500,000 and Suge was taken into custody and given priority for booking.
