Tree Lined Streets are Mark Leddy (Lead Vocals and Keyboards) and Tim Boland, who are originally from Dublin but now live in Los Angeles (Guitar, Bass, Keys and Backing Vocals).
TLS’s debut album, ‘Transformation,’ released in October 2020, was a distinct combination of guitar-driven rock, rooted in the golden days of rock in the 1960s and 1970s and evolving into a sound that is both modern and distinctively TLS.
TLS is presently working on its second album, which will feature music that depends less on live drums and guitar driven songs and more on electronic components, creating a more synth driven pop combined with live guitars, bass, and layers of vocals. Their most recent single, ‘Time,’ and prior single, ‘Long Way Down,’ take a more electronic style that clearly pays respect to their 1980s roots.
The song represents a new direction for Tree Lined Streets, so keep an eye out for more from the intriguing duo as they evolve and explore the world of electronic music.
