YG is back with a bang in the video for his latest single, “Stupid,” featuring Lil Yachty and Babyface Ray. Directed by Austin Simkins, the visually captivating clip features the trio living it up alongside luxury cars, stacks of cash, and a lively crowd of women by an outdoor pool.
On the Mustard-produced track, YG sets the tone with his boastful lyrics, rapping, “Yeah, let’s get to it / If grump pays, I’ma do it / Remember them days I was sliding in the Buick / Now I’m up goin’ stupid, stupid.”
Lil Yachty jumps in from a sailboat, delivering lines like, “How you sent your boys to war with no ammunition? / Yeah, you put up Rolls Royce, but it’s standard edition,” followed by Babyface Ray’s verse, “Real niggas do real things / Real numbers, real fans, ain’t a thang change / Yeah, top down in the fast lane / Hands up, thank a God that the bag came, bitch.”
“Stupid” follows the recent releases “Shake” featuring Kaliii and Stunna Girl, and “Weird.” All three tracks are set to appear on YG’s upcoming project, Just Re’d Up 3, dropping on August 16.
