Newcomer / Lewisham’s finest Young Yizzy a.k.a The Grime Kid shares his new EP This Is Life.
The six track EP consist of heavy bars and wavy production which fully form an amazing EP. The grime MC fully shows off his versatile ability delivering songs like “Bodied On A Beat” and “Buss”, which stand out. The 17 year old rapper was also one of the top eight in Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition after sharing stages with 67, Mo Stack, Mist, Kojo Funds & Tion Wayne.
Coined as ‘The Grime Kid’ and fast becoming known for ruthless, high energy flows over heavy 140 BPM productions, Young Yizzy channels his pent up aggression into passionate songs which touch on a range of relatable topics such as society and life in the UK in 2017.
Young Yizzy’s DIY resource and humility is helping to position him as one of the most hotly tipped young MCs in London, and now championed as ‘one to watch’ by The Guardian, his talent has him rubbing shoulders with some of the greats in the genre. Moving forwards without a crew, there is something very emotive and provocative in the cold expression of life throughout this breathtaking EP from the 17 year old.
