Today he is taking us ‘Higher’,a hip hop which features Novakillz and is produced by Nightblaze, an offering from his forthcoming mixtape titled “Me, Myself and I” slated to drop soon. Zato as he’s mostly called journeyed into music in the mid 90’s as a little child listening to the likes of Big L, Biggie, Rakim, 2Pac and sourced his drive for making songs from greats such as Fela Kuti, Michael Jackson, Da-grin and Nas Zato brings life into his music with passion depicting a character for himself in every song he makes putting it in a movie format and artistically separating the wheat from the chaff. For his mixtape titled ‘me, myself and I’ Zato been working with the likes of Mode9, Aisha, Flowssickk, TeetoCeemos ,EX-o, Emmsong, Dammykrane, Tesh Carter, Boogey and a host of others. Unlike many mcs, zato makes songs that drive home points with a lifestyle that would attract brand companies.
