Latest update on the Beanie Sigel case is the rapper is still unable to talk to the authorities. Remaining sedated, he most probably won’t be able to cooperate with investigators in the coming days.
In the meantime, there is a suspect who was immediately taken into custody for questioning. Beanie’s brother is also injured but not shot and is not willing to help police in the investigation as he remains silent.
Police believe the shooting took place after an argument outside the home. Sigel was rushed into surgery after being shot in the abdomen around 9:30 a.m. on Friday morning as he returned to his Pleasantville home along the 800 block of Spruce Avenue. He had just dropped his kids off at school when the gunfire erupted.
