South London rapper Blanco returns with his new single and video “Brilliant mind” ahead of his new mixtape Rebourne due 18th August.
His breakthrough album, City of God, introduced the Kennington talent to a wider audience. “Brilliant Mind” is his fourth official single. The music opens with some smooth instrumentals, including some brass notes and rhythmic percussive components, before Blanco delivers his signature lyrical dexterity and sharp wordplay. Although it’s a bit more chill than what we’re used to hearing from the Kennington native, “Brilliant Mind” still proves the rising star can produce some of the most original and exciting rap music to come out of the UK.
