Future Files Countersuit Against Ciara.
Future strikes back. The Purple Reign rapper has filed a countersuit against his ex Ciara and her $15 million defamation lawsuit.
In the suit, obtained by TMZ, Future claims he couldn’t ruin Ciara’s rep because she doesn’t currently have one. His countersuit calls the singer’s fanbase “reasonably large,” but also claims her 2015 album Jackie was a “flop.” Furthermore, he says she hasn’t won many awards since 2013.
Speaking of awards, Ciara is set to host this year’s Billboard Music Awards with Ludacris. While announcing this year’s finalists, CiCi made an obvious omission of Future’s name, forcing her co-host to say it for her.
