ILOVEMAKONNEN Drops “I Remember Makonnen (Freestyle).”
It’s now almost a month since ILOVEMAKONNEN released the project, Drink More Water 6. Since then, the Atlanta artist treated fans to the gloomy “Back Again” video, and now returns with a new track. A freestyle titled “I Remember Makonnen,” the former (?) OVO Sound artist delivers a 10-minute trip down memory lane of personal highs and lows. The 26-year-old touches on selling drugs, to witnessing a fatal crime, a broken relationship with his father, and much more.
“just remembering some stuff in my life in form of a 10 min freestyle,” says MAKONNEN is a message posted with the song. He continues, “this will help so many, thank you.”
